The book relates also with detail how he came to Islam and his most important actions in Makkah, his migration to Madinah, his life in Madinah, his campaigns and battles alongside the Messenger of Allah, his life during the era of Rightly Guided Caliphs and his swearing of allegiance and his period of Caliphate. It also discusses the internal problems that `Ali faced during his reign. It goes on to mention the events that led to the Battle of the Camel, and how all the parties involved are free from any fault. Afterwards, the events of the Battle of Siffeen are mentioned, along with the relationship between `Ali and Mu`aawiyah. The book sheds light on the fallacies that are held by some deviant groups about these events and their distortion of historical truths.

In this book, the author has widely described the main principle of Taqleed. He says that Allah and Prophet Mohammed (SAW) have not ordered us to follow any opinions and interpretations. So there`s a possibility of being correct or incorrect in the opinions because there are many issues on which the Imams had different views and they explain them according to their own reasons and speculations, but the real and true Islam is based on the book (Quran) and Prophet`s Sunnah. Allah says: `But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith until they make you judge in all disputed matters between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decision, and accept them with full submission.` And the prophet said: `I leave you with two things as long as you hold them tightly, you never go astray: they are the book of Allah and my Sunnah.` In this sense, the author has described the difference between different Madhahib (madhabs/mazhabs), and their views and urged to follow only the Quran and Sunnah. -

One of the wise people once said: `I am amazed at the one who feels grief over the loss of his wealth but yet he does not feel grief over the loss of his lifes pan (which occurs daily).` So strive hard in worship (of Allah), weep over your sins and flee from the punishment (in the Hereafter). The victorious one is he who directs his hopes toward that which is everlasting and cuts off his aspirations for that which is temporary. When Muhammad bin Sirin was about to die, he wept. It was said to him: `Why are you weeping?` He replied: `I am weeping due to my lapses in the days that have passed and the small number of deeds that I performed seeking the lofty Paradise. -

This is the English translation of Sunan Abu Dawud (originally by Abu Dawud SulaymÄn ibn al-Ash‘ath al-Azdi as-Sijistani)) (5 Volume Set) which is published by Darussalam with commentary after each hadith. دعائیں کیا ہیں؟ دراصل التجائیں ہیں جو انسان اپنے رب کے حضور پیش کرتا ہے۔مشکل ترین اوقات میںبے اختیار اس کی زبان سے ’’یا اللہ‘‘ نکلتا ہے۔ اللہ رب العزت نے اپنے بندوں کوحکم دیا ہے کہ اس کو پکاریں، وہ ان کی دعائوں کو قبول کے گا۔اگر آپ نبی کریمﷺ کے صبح و شام کے معمولات کا جائزہ لیں تو معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ ہر مرحلے پر آپ نے اپنے رب سے دعا مانگی۔ ان دعائوں میں یا تو آپ نے اپنے رب سے دنیا و آخرت کی بھلائیاں طلب کیں، یا نقصان دہ امور سے اس کی پناہ مانگی، یا اس کی تسبیح و تعریف کی اور اس کا شکر ادا کیا اور پھراپنے صحابہ کرام کو بھی اپنے رب سے تعلق پیدا کرنے کا حکم دیا اور انہیں کثرت سے دعائیں مانگنے کی تلقین فرمائی۔ اس کتاب میں روز مرہ کی صرف اہم دعائیں ذکر کی گئی ہیں جن سے عام آدمی کو واسطہ پڑتا ہے۔ اس کتاب سے مدد لیں اور اپنے رب سے مانگیں خوب مانگیں، ہر روز مانگیں، ہر وقت مانگیں۔ آپ خشوع وخضوع سے،گڑگڑا کر،دل کی توجہ سے دعا کریں گے تو آپ زندگی میں بہت بڑی تبدیلی آئے گی۔ -

اولاد کی تربیت صالح ہوتو ایک نعمت ہے وگرنہ یہ ایک فتنہ اور وبال بن جاتی ہے ۔ دین وشریعت میں اولاد کی تربیت کے لیے ایک فریضہ کی حیثیت رکھتی ہے ۔ کیونکہ جس طرح والدین کے اولاد پر حقوق ہیں اسی طرح اولاد کےوالدین پر حقوق ہیں اور جیسے اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہمیں والدین کےساتھ نیکی کرنے کا حکم دیا ہے ایسے ہی اس نے ہمیں اولاد کےساتھ احسان کرنے کا بھی حکم دیا ہے۔ ان کے ساتھ احسان اور ان کی بہترین تربیت کرنا دراصل امانت صحیح طریقے سے ادا کرنا ہے اورانکو آزاد چھوڑنا اور ان کے حقوق میں کوتاہی کرنا دھوکہ اور خیانت ہے۔ کتاب وسنت کے دلائل میں اس بات کا واضح حکم ہے کہ اولاد کے ساتھ احسان کیا جائے۔ ان کی امانت کوادا کیا جائے، ان کوآزاد چھوڑنے اوران کےحقوق میں کتاہیوں سے بچا جائے ۔کیونکہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی بے شمار نعمتوں میں سے ایک بہت بڑی نعمت اولاد بھی ہے۔ اور اس بات میں کوئی شک نہیں کہ اگر اولاد کی صحیح تربیت کی جائے تو وہ آنکھوں کا نور اور دل کا سرور بھی ہوتی ہے ۔ لیکن اگر اولاد بگڑ جائے اور اس کی صحیح تربیت نہ کی جائے تو وہی اولاد آزمائش بن جاتی ہے۔ زیر تبصرہ کتابچہ’’تربیت اولاد‘‘سعودی عرب کے معروف عالم دین شیخ محمد بن جمیل زینو کاتربیت اولاد کے موضوع پر ایک عربی رسالے کا ترجمہ ہے۔ اس کتابچہ میں شیخ موصوف نے تقریباً ان تمام باتوں کا احاطہ کر نےکی کوشش کی ہے جن سے معلوم ہوسکے کہ مسلمان بچوں کی تربیت کےلیے کون سے امور ضروری ہیں اوران کی مکمل تہذیب کے لیے کن باتوں سے پرہیز لازم ہے۔ یہ کتاب اپنےبچوں کے مستقبل کوسنوارنے او راسلامی منہج پر صحیح تربیت کرنےکے لیےبہترین کتاب ہے۔ -

خاتم النبیین حضرت محمد ﷺ کی دعوتِ توحید نے ایک دوسرے کے دشمن عرب قبائل کو متحد کر کے ساری دنیا کا امام بنا دیا تھا۔ پھر صدیوں کی گردشوں کے بعد ایسا زوال آیاکہ مسلمان دنیا طلب اور راحت کو ش بن گئے۔ قران و سنت کی صراطِ مستقیم سے دور جا پڑے۔ تاریخ کے جبر کا شکار ہوگئے ۔ شرک و بدعت کی خندق میں گر گئے۔ ان کی ملی وحدت پارہ پارہ ہوگئی ارو وہ وحدہ لا شریک کی بجائے قبروں اور آستانوں کو پوجنے لگے۔ رحمت پروردگار پھر جوش میں آئی۔ باروہیں صدی ہجری میں سرزمین عرب ہی میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کا ایک ایسا فدائی پیدا ہوا جس نے اپنے ایمان و یقین ، سوز باطن اور عمل پیہم سے قبروں اور آستانوں پر جھکی ہوئی پیشانیوں کو اٹھایا اور توحید ربانی کا درس دے کر ان کی مردہ رگوں میں زندگی کی نئی روح پھونک دی۔ توحید کے اس فدائی، رسول اللہ ﷺ کے شیدائی اور دین قیم کے اس سپاہی کو دنیا امام محمد بن عبدالوہاب کے نام نامی سے جانتی ہے۔ یہ کتاب اسی جلیل القدر ہستی کے سوزِ باطن، فکر و نظر اور دعوت و تبلیغ کی سر گزشت ہے۔ امام موصوف کی دعوتِ توحید کو قبول عامہ نصیب ہوا تو سامراجی طاقتیں اور ان کے پٹھو علمائے سو چراغ پا ہوگئے اور انھوں نے اس دعوت حق کو بدنام کرنے کے لیے اسے `تحریکِ وہابیت` کہنا شروع کردیا۔ فاضل مصنف نے مستند تاریخی حوالوںاور محکم دلائل و براہین سے اس تہمت کا پول کھول دیا ہے اور یہ حقیقت اجا گر کردی ہے کہ امام محمد بن عبدالوہاب کی تحریک کا مقصد اس کے سوا کچھ نہیں کہ امت مسلمہ شرک و بدعت سے کٹ کر اور ہر طرف سے ہٹ کر صرف قران و سنت کی طرف پلٹ آئے۔ یہ کتاب توجہ سے پڑھیے۔ آپ کو یوں محسوس ہوگا جیسے تاریخ آپ کے روبرو سانس لے رہی ہے۔ -
قرآن حکیم سرچشمہ رشدوہدایت اور منبع خیر وبرکت ہے،یوں تو دینی راہنمائی ،دین اسلام کی حقانیت ،توحیدکے بیان اور کفر و شرک کے ابطال کےلیے پورا قرآن ہی مجسم ہدایت ہے،لیکن عقائد کی اصلاح، جنت کی ترغیب ،روز قیامت کی ہولناکیوں اور جہنم سے ترہیب تیسویں پارے میں زیادہ بیان ہوئی ہے ۔نیزاس پارہ میں تزکیہ نفس اور اصلاح نفس پر زیادہ زور دیا گیاہے ۔اختصاروجامعیت کے اعتبار سے بھی یہ پارہ خاص اہمیت کا حامل ہے ،اس اہمیت کے پیش نظر ادارہ دار السلام نے اس پارہ کو الگ جلد میں شائع کیاہے تاکہ عوام الناس میں قرآن پڑھنے کاذوق اجاگر ہو اور وہ قرآنی تعلیمات سے کما حقہ بہرہ مند ہوسکیں -
سورۂ فاتحہ قرآن مجید کی پہلی اور مضامین کے اعتبار سے جامع ترین سورۃ ہے جو پورے قرآن مجید کا مقدمہ ،تمہید اور خلاصہ ہے ۔ اس سورت کی عربی اور اردو میں کئی ایک تفسیریں الگ سے شائع ہوچکی ہیں۔ زیر تبصرہ تفسیر سورۂ فاتحہ مفسر قرآن حافظ صلاح الدین یوسف﷾ کی اس سورت کی تفصیلی تفسیر ہے ۔ حافظ صاحب کی مرقوم جامع اور مختصر تفسیر ’’احسن البیان‘‘ کے قبول عام پر حافظ صاحب کے مقربین نے محسوس کیا کہ انہیں قرآن مجید کی ایک تفصیلی تفسیر بھی لکھنی چاہیے تو حافظ صاحب نے سورۂ فاتحہ کے بعد سورۂ بقرہ کی تفسیر شروع کی ہی تھی کہ یہ کام دیگر علمی مصروفیات کے باعث رک گیا۔اللہ تعالیٰ حافظ صاحب کواسے پایۂ تکمیل تک پہنچانے کی توفیق واسباب عنایت کردے ۔(آمین)حافظ صاحب نے سورۃ الفاتحہ کے تفسیر ی نکات صحیح احادیث کی روشنی میں شرح وبسط کےساتھ بیان کیے ہیں۔ ان کا استدلال بہت دلنشیں ہے ۔یہ تفسیر اس تفسیر سورۃ الفاتحہ سے الگ ایک نئی تفسیر ہے جو تفسیر’’ احسن البیان ‘‘ میں شامل ہے یہ تفسیرخاص وعام بالخصوص طلبہ ،علماء اور واعظین کےلیے بے حد مفید ہے -
اخروی نجات ہر مسلمان کا مقصد زندگی ہے جو صرف اور صرف توحید خالص پرعمل پیرا ہونے سے پورا ہوسکتا ہے۔ جبکہ مشرکانہ عقائد واعمال انسان کو تباہی کی راہ پر ڈالتے ہیں جیسا کہ قرآن کریم نے مشرکوں کے لیے وعید سنائی ہے ’’ اللہ تعالیٰ شرک کو ہرگز معاف نہیں کرے گا او اس کے سوا جسے چاہے معاف کردے گا۔‘‘ (النساء:48) لہذا شرک کی الائشوں سے بچنا ایک مسلمان کے لیے ضروری ہے ۔اس کے بغیر آخرت کی نجات ممکن ہی نہیں ۔ حضرت نوح نے ساڑے نوسوسال کلمۂ توحید کی طرف لوگوں کودعوت دی ۔ اور اللہ کے آخری رسول سید الانبیاء خاتم النبین حضرت محمد مصطفیٰ ﷺ نےبھی عقید ۂ توحید کی دعوت کے لیے کس قدر محنت کی اور اس فریضہ کو سر انجام دیا کہ جس کے بدلے آپ ﷺ کو طرح طرح کی تکالیف ومصائب سے دوچار ہوناپڑا۔ عقیدہ توحید کی تعلیم وتفہیم کے لیے جہاں نبی کریم ﷺ او رآپ کے صحابہ کرا م نے بے شمار قربانیاں دیں اور تکالیف کو برداشت کیا وہاں علمائے اسلام نےبھی عوام الناس کوتوحید اور شرک کی حقیقت سےآشنا کرنے کےلیے دن رات اپنی تحریروں اور تقریروں میں اس کی اہمیت کو خوب واضح کیا ۔ہنوز یہ سلسلہ جاری وساری ہے۔ زیر تبصرہ کتاب بھی اسی سلسلہ کی ایک کڑی ہے ۔اس کتاب میں مصنف نے توحید وشرک کی حقیقت کو سادہ اور دل نشیں الفاظ میں بیان کردیا ہے ۔ اوراللہ تعالیٰ کے بارے میں مذاہب باطلہ کا تصور پیش کرنے کےبعد سفارش کی حقیقت بیان کی ہے او راس ضمن میں قرآنی حقائق سے استشہاد کیا ہے ۔ حضرت نوح ، اصحاب کہف اور عزیر کے قصوں اور قرآنی آیات سے خالص توحید کو اجاگر کیا ہے ۔ انہوں نے وسیلے کی حقیقت اوراسے اختیار کرنےکا طریقہ انبیائے کرام کی پاکیزہ سیرت کی پیروی میں دکھایا ہے ، نیز قرآن کریم کی روشنی میں معجزہ اور کرامات کی حقیقت کھول کر بیان کردی ہے ۔اسے کھلے دل ودماغ سے پڑھنے والا شرک اوراس کے تمام مظاہر سے بچ کر خلوص دل سے توحید الٰہی کوحرزِ جاں بنائے گا تو دنیا اورآخرت میں یقیناً فوز وفلاح کا مستحق ٹھرے گا ۔ زیر نظر ایڈیشن کتاب ’’ توحید او رہم ‘‘ کا نیو ایڈیشن ہے اسے دورنگوں میں قرآنی آیات کی خوبصورت کتابت کےساتھ شائع کیاگیا ہے ۔نیز تخریج اور تنقیح کا اہتمام کرنےک ساتھ ساتھ چند ایک ضعیف احادیث خارج کر کے ان کی بجائے صحیح احادیث درج کی گئی ہیں ۔اللہ تعالیٰ مصنف وناشرین کی کاوش کو قبول فرمائے۔ (آمین)

انسانیت کو ہدایت کی روشنی دینےکےلیے اس دنیامیں بےشمار انبیاء آئےپہلے نبی ہونےکاشرف سیدنا آدم علیہ السلام کوحاصل ہے او رآخری نبی ہونےکااعزازمحمدرسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے حصے میں آیا۔انبیاء کی سیرت کامطالعہ کریں تو یہ بات سمجھ میں آتی ہےکہ اللہ تعالی نےنبوت کی ذمہ داری کےلیے ایسے افراد کو چناجن کی زندگیاں ہر طرح کے عیب سے پاک تھیں۔سچائی ،پرہیزگاری اور نیکی ان کا وصف تھا۔نبئی مہرباں صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم خاتم المرسلین ہیں ۔آپ کےبعد کوئی نبی نہیں آئے گا یہ اللہ کافیصلہ ہے۔لیکن کچھ لوگ ذاتی مفادات کےلیے ،اپنی دوکانداری چمکانے کے لیے نبوت کے بند کیے ہوئے محل میں نقب لگانےسے باز نہ آئے ۔ان میں سےایک جھوٹا نبی انگریزوں کےہاتھ سے تراشا ہوا مرزا غلام احمد قادیانی ہے ۔اس جھوٹے نبی کی پرورش کس نے کی؟، اس خاردار پودے کی آبیاری کسے نےکی؟،اس کی جھوٹی شخصیت کو نبوت کا لباس کس نے پہنایا ؟،اس گھٹیا تحریرات اور خیالات کو الہام کیسے بنایا گیا ؟،یہ سب باتیں آپ کے سامنے’’تھالی کا بینگن ‘‘کی شکل میں پیش ہیں اس کتاب میں جعلی نبوت کے حقائق کو بڑے دلچسپ انداز میں بیان کیا گیاہے اور مزے کی بات یہ ہے کہ مرزا کی اپنی ہی تحریروں کی مدد سے اس کی نبوت کے فتنے کو عیاں کیاگیاہے۔ -
From the day he embraced Islam until the day he died, Abu Bakr As-Siddique (May Allah be pleased with him) was the ideal Muslim, surpassing all other Companions in every sphere of life. During the Prophet`s lifetime, Abu Bakr was an exemplary soldier on the battlefield; upon the Prophet`s death, Abu Bakr (May Allah be pleased with him) remained steadfast and, through the help of Allah, held this nation together. When others suggested keeping Usaamah`s army back, Abu Bakr insisted - and correctly so - that the army should continue the mission which the Prophet (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) had in mind. When people refused to pay Zakaat, and when the apostates threatened the stability of the Muslim nation, Abu Bakr (May Allah be pleased with him) was the one who remained firm and took decisive action against them. These are just some of the examples of Abu Bakr`s many wonderful achievements throughout his life. I have endeavored to describe all of the above in a clear and organized manner. But more so than anything else, I have tried to show how Abu Bakr`s methodology as a Muslim and as a ruler helped establish the foundations of a strong, stable, and prosperous country - one that began in Al-Madeenah, extended throughout the Arabian Peninsula, and then reached far-off lands outside of Arabia. Throughout the brief period of his caliphate (about 2 years), Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (May Allah be pleased with him) faced both internal and external challenges; the former mainly involved quelling the apostate factions of Arabia and establishing justice and peace among the citizens of the Muslim nation; and the latter mainly involved expanding the borders of the Muslim nation by spreading the message of Islam to foreign nations and conquering those nations that stood in the way of the propagation of Islam. During the era of his caliphate, Khalifah Abu Bakr As Siddeeq (May Allah be pleased with him) sent out armies that achieved important conquests; for example, under the command of Khaalid ibn Al-Waleed (May Allah be pleased with him) the Muslim army gained an important victory in Iraq. And the Muslim army achieved other important victories under the commands of Al-Muthannah ibn Haarithah (May Allah be pleased with him) and Al-Qa`qaa ibn `Amr (May Allah be pleased with him). In short, the victories achieved during the era of Abu Bakr`s Caliphate paved the way for victories that later took place after Abu Bakr`s death. I have tried to analyze the above-mentioned conquests and to break down the reasons why they were such monumental successes. I particularly pointed out Abu Bakr`s contributions to those conquests: His military strategy, the leaders he chose, the letters through which he communicated with them, and so on. -
This is the fourth book in studying the reign of the Rightly Guided Caliphs. It relates the life of the Leader of the Believers, `Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, from birth until his martyrdom. The book relates with detail how he came to Islam and his most important actions in Makkah, his migration to Madinah, his life in Madinah, his campaigns and battles alongside the Messenger of Allah, his life during the era of Rightly Guided Caliphs and his swearing of allegiance and his period of Caliphate. It also discusses the internal problems that `Ali faced during his reign. It goes on to mention the events that led to the Battle of the Camel, and how all the parties involved are free from any fault. Afterwards, the events of the Battle of Siffeen are mentioned, along with the relationship between `Ali and Mu`aawiyah. The book sheds light on the fallacies that are held by some deviant groups about these events and their distortion of historical truths. -

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah is one of the greatest scholars and reformers in Islamic history, which emerged at time of great turmoil and confusion to call the Muslims to return to the path of Quran and Sunnah, the path of the prophet (SAWW) and the early generations of this Ummah (Salaf).
