سيرت دينی موضوعات ميں سے ايک اہم تر موضوع ہے جس ميں اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ عليہ وسلم کي ذاتی اور شرعی زندگی کامطالعہ کيا جاتا ہے۔ايک مسلمان ہونے کے ناطے ہماری يہ بنيادی ذمہ داری بنتی ہے کہ ہميں اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ عليہ وسلم کي ذات، حالات، شمائل اور سيرت سے واقفيت ہونی چاہيے۔ ہر دور ميں اہل علم نے سيرت پر کتابيں لکھی ہيں۔امام محمد بن اسحاق (متوفی152ھ) کی کتاب سيرت ابن اسحاق اس موضوع پر پہلی جامع ترين کتاب شمار ہوتی ہے اگرچہ امام محمد بن اسحاق سے پہلے صحابہ وتابعين ميں سے 40 افراد کے نام ملتے ہيں جنہوں نے سيرت کے متفرق ومتنوع پہلوؤں پر جزوی بحثيں کي ہيں۔اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ عليہ وسلم کي سيرت پر مختلف اعتبارات سے کام ہوا ہے جن ميں ايک اہم پہلو سيرت کا فقہی اور حکيمانہ پہلو بھی ہے يعنی فقہی اعتبار سے سيرت کو مرتب کرنا اور اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ عليہ وسلم کے اعمال و افعال کی حکمتيں بيان کرنا۔ امام ابن القيم (متوفی 751ھ)کی کتاب ’زاد المعاد‘ سيرت کے انہی دو پہلوؤں کو سامنے رکھتے ہوئے مرتب کي گئی ہے۔بعض اہل علم نے ’زاد المعاد‘ کو فلسفہ سيرت کی کتاب بھی کہا ہے جبکہ بعض اہل علم کا کہنا يہ ہے کہ امام صاحب کي يہ کتاب ’عملی سيرت‘ کی ايک کتاب ہے۔ امام ابن القيم کی اس کتاب کا ايک خوبصورت اختصار شيخ محمد بن عبدا لوہاب رحمہ اللہ نے ’مختصر زاد المعاد‘ کے نام سے کيا ہے جسے سعيد احمد قمر الزمان ندوی نے اردو ترجمہ کی صورت دی ہے۔ امام ابن القيم رحمہ اللہ کی اس کتاب ميں بعض بہت ہی نادر اور قيمتی و علمی نکات بھی منقول ہو ئے ہيں جو ان کے روحانی مقام ومرتبہ پر شاہد ہيں خاص طور پر ص 350 پر نظر بد کے علاج کي بحث ارواح کی خصوصيات کے بارے عمدہ بحث کی گئی ہے۔ بلاشبہ امام صاحب کی يہ کتاب سيرت کے فقہی،علمی، حکيمانہ اور فلسفيانہ پہلوؤں کو محيط ہونے کے ساتھ ساتھ سيرت کا ايک مستند مصدر وماخذ بھی ہے جس کا اختصار افادہ عام کے ليے شيخ محمد بن عبد الوہاب رحمہ اللہ نے کياہے -
There are many dictionaries concerning many fields of life, but we do not yet have an explanatory dictionary regarding Islamic terms. So we tried to fill that gap with this dictionary and hopefully give the Readers a sufficient ground towards a better understanding of Islam. -
In this book, `Qasas-ul-Anbiya` the stories of the prophets have been compiled from `Al-Bidayah wan-Nihayah` (The Beginning and the End) which is a great work of the famous Muslim exegete and historian Ibn Kathir and has a prominent place in the Islamic literature. The stories of the prophets and all the events in their lives have been supported by the Qur`anic Verses and the Sunnah (traditions) of the Prophet (S). Wherever it was necessary, other sources have also been reported for the sake of historical accounts, but on such places a comparative study has been made to prove the authenticity of the sources. امام بخاری ۱۳شوال ۱۹۴ھ، بروز جمعہ بخارا میں پیدا ہوئے۔ دس سال کی عمر ہوئی تو مکتب کا رخ کیا۔ بخارا کے کبار محدثین سے استفادہ کیا۔ جن میں امام محمد بن سلام بیکندی، امام عبداللہ بن محمد بن عبداللہ المسندی، امام محمد بن یوسف بیکندی زیادہ معروف ہیں۔ اسی دوران انہوں نے امام عبداللہ بن مبارک امام وکیع بن جراح کی کتابوں کو ازبر کیا اور فقہ اہل الرائے پر پوری دسترس حاصل کر لی۔ طلبِ حدیث کی خاطر حجاز، بصرہ،بغداد شام، مصر، خراسان، مرو بلخ،ہرات،نیشا پور کا سفر کیا ۔ ان کے حفظ و ضبط اور معرفت حدیث کا چرچا ہونے لگا۔ امام بخاری کے استاتذہ کرام بھی امام بخاری سے کسب فیض کرتے تھے ۔ آپ کے استاتذہ اور شیوخ کی تعداد کم وبیش ایک ہزار ہے۔ جن میں خیرون القرون کےاساطین علم کےاسمائے گرامی بھی آتے ہیں۔اور آپ کےتلامذہ کی تعداد لاکھوں میں ہے۔ امام بخاری سے صحیح بخاری سماعت کرنےوالوں کی تعداد 90ہزار کےلگ بھگ تھی ۔امام بخاری کے علمی کارناموں میں سب سے بڑا کارنامہ صحیح بخاری کی تالیف ہے جس کے بارے میں علمائے اسلام کا متفقہ فیصلہ ہے کہ قرآن کریم کے بعد کتب ِحدیث میں صحیح ترین کتاب صحیح بخاری ہے ۔ فن ِحدیث میں اس کتاب کی نظیر نہیں پائی جاتی آپ نے سولہ سال کے طویل عرصہ میں 6 لاکھ احادیث سے اس کا انتخاب کیا اور اس کتاب کے ابواب کی ترتیب روضۃ من ریاض الجنۃ میں بیٹھ کر فرمائی اور اس میں صرف صحیح احادیث کو شامل کیا ۔امام بخاری کی سیر ت پر متعدد اہل علم نے کتب تصنیف کی ہیں لیکن سب سے عمدہ کتاب مولانا عبد السلام مبارکپوری کی تصنیف ’’سیرۃ البخاری ‘‘ ہے جو کہ کتاب وسنت ویب سائٹ پر موجود ہے۔ اس کتاب کا عربی ترجمہ ڈاکٹر عبد العلیم بستوی کےقلم سے جامعہ سلفیہ بنارس سے شائع ہوچکا ہے۔ زیر نظرکتاب ’’سیرت امام بخاری‘‘ کو تالیف کرنے کی سعادت شیخ الحدیث مولانا عبدالرحمٰن چیمہ﷾نے حاصل کی بعد ازاں دارالسلام ،لاہور کے شعبہ تحقیق وتصنیف کےسکالرزنے بھی اس میں بیش قیمت اضافے کیے ہیں۔ شیخ الحدیث مولاناحافظ عبدالعزیز علوی نے ترمیم واضافہ کے ساتھ ساتھ اس کی نظرثانی کی ہے اور اسی طرح محقق دوراں مولاناارشاد الحق اثری نےاس میں کچھ حک و اضافہ کےساتھ اس پر ایک جاندار مقدمہ تحریرکیا ہے جس سے اس کتاب اہمیت وافادیت دو چند ہوگئی ہے۔ اس کتاب میں امام بخاری کےاساتذہ کی سیرت، اساتذہ کرام، ان کے طبقات، وسعت علمی ، عقائد ونظریات، صحیح بخاری میں احادیث کو نقل وجمع کرنے کی شرائط، دیگر تصانیف اور ان کےاسلوب اور متعلقات وشروح صحیح بخاری کےساتھ ساتھ امام بخاری کی فقیہانہ بصیرت، محدثانہ صلاحیت ،امام موصوف کے معاصرین اور تلامذہ وغیرہ کا تذکرہ بڑے یگانہ اور جدید اسلوب میں پیش کیا گیا ہے۔ -

خواب خصالِ انسانی کاحصہ ہیں ہر انسان زندگی میں اس سے دوچار ہوتا ہے کبھی اسے اچھے اور کبھی بڑے خوف ناک خواب دکھائی دیتے ہیں ۔ جب آدمی اچھے خواب دیکھتا ہے تو اس بات کی تڑپ ہوتی ہے کہ خواب میں اسے کیا اشارہ فرماتی ہیں کہ پہلے پہلے جس کے ساتھ رسول اللہ ﷺ پر وحی کی ابتدا کی گئی وہ نیند میں خواب تھے آپ جوبھی خواب دیکھتے اس کی تعبیر صج کے پھوٹنےکی مانند بالکل آشکارہوجاتی ‘‘اور نبی ﷺنے فرمایا ’’نیک آدمی کا اچھا خواب نبوت کے چھیالیسویں حصے میں سے ہے ‘‘ فرمان نبوی ﷺ کے مطابق جب قیامت قریب آجائےگی تو مسلمان کا کوئی خواب غلط ثابت نہیں ہوگا۔ ان میں سے سب سےسچے خواب دیکھنے والا وہ شخص ہوگا جو سب سےزیادہ سچ بولتا ہوگا۔ مسنداحمد میں ہے آپ ﷺ نےفرمایا کہ میرے بعدصرف مبشّرات باقی رہ جائیں گی۔صحابہ نےعرض کی: اے اللہ کے رسول ! مبشرات کیا ہیں تو آپﷺ نےفرمایا: اچھا خواب جومسلمان دیکھتا ہے۔ نبی کریم ﷺ نماز فجر کےبعد صحابہ کرام کے خواب سنتے اوران کی تعبیر فرماتے۔ سیدنا یوسف کا خواب اوراس کی تعبیر اوران کی خوابوں کی تعبیر سیکھنے کےمتعلق دعا کا ذکر اللہ تعالیٰ نےقرآن مجیدمیں کیا ہے۔خوابوں کی تعبیر ،احکام او راقسام کے حوالوں سے احادیث میں تفصیل موجود ہے۔ زیر تبصرہ کتاب ’’ خوابوں کی تعبیریں‘‘ آٹھویں صدی ہجری کے مایۂ ناز عالم امام محمد بن عبد اللہ بن راشد کی شاہکار کتاب ’’المرتبۃ العلیا فی تعبیر الرؤیا‘‘ کا اردوترجمہ ہے۔ خواب کیا ہے؟ اس کی کتنی اقسام ہیں؟ خواب آئے تو کیاکرناچاہیے؟ اورعلم تعبیر کیا ہے؟ اوریہ کس قدر وسیع علم ہے ؟مذکورہ تما م بحثیں کتاب ہذا میں موجود ہیں۔ یہ کتاب جہاں خواب دیکھنے والوں کے لیے عمدہ کاوش ہے وہاں علم تعبیر کاشغف رکھنے والوں کےلیے بھی ایک گراں قدر تحفہ ہے۔ مصنف کتاب نے اسے 17 ابواب میں تقسیم کیا ہے اور پھران ابواب کی سیکڑوں ذیلی سرخیوں کے تحت ہزاروں خوابوں کی تعبیریں بیان کی گئی ہیں۔ اس کتاب کو عربی اردو قالب میں ڈھالنے کا کام محمد واصف مرحوم نے شروع کیا تھا اس کام کی تکمیل نہ ہوئی تھی کہ موصوف زندگی 37 بہاریں گزار کر اسی عارضی جہاں سے رخصت ہوگئے۔ان کی وفات کےبعد فاضل نوجوان قمر حسن نے ترجمےکی تکمیل بھی کی اورتسہیل و نظرثانی کا کام بھی بڑی خوش اسلوبی سے نبہایاترجمے کا اسلوب عام فہم ، سادہ، دلچسپ اور سلیس ہے۔ اللہ تعالی ٰ اس کتاب کو عوام وخواص کے لیے نفع مند بنائے ہوا ہے اور جب برے خواب ہوں تو خوف زادہ ہوجاتاہے ایسے میں انسان کی قرآن وسنت سے راہنمائی بہت ضروری ہے۔ حضرت عائشہ

۔ سیدنا عثمان غنی صرف کاتب وحی ہی نہیں تھے بلکہ قرآن مجید آپ کے سینے میں محفوظ تھا۔ آیات قرآنی کے شان نزول سے خوب واقف تھے ۔ بطور تاجر دیانت و امانت آپ کا طرۂ امتیاز تھا۔ نرم خو تھے اور فکر آخرت ہر دم پیش نظر رکھتے تھے ۔ نبی کریم ﷺ کا ارشاد ہے عثمان کی حیا سے فرشتے بھی شرماتے ہیں ، تبلیغ و اشاعت اسلام کے ليے فراخ دلی سے دولت صرف فرماتے۔نبی کریم ﷺنے فرمایا کہ اے عثمان اللہ تعالٰی تجھے خلافت کی قمیص پہنائیں گے ، جب منافق اسے اتارنے کی کوشش کریں تو اسے مت اتارنا یہاں تک کہ تم مجھے آملو۔ چنانچہ جس روز آپ کا محاصرہ کیا گیا تو آپ نے فرمایا کہ مجھ سے حضور نے عہد لیا تھا ( کہ منافق خلافت کی قمیص اتارنے کی کوشش کریں گے تم نہ اتارنا ) اس ليے میں اس پر قائم ہوں اور صبر کر رہا ہوں ۔ 35ھ میں ذی قعدہ کے پہلے عشرہ میں باغیوں نے سیدنا عثمان ذوالنورین کے گھر کا محاصرہ کیا اور آپ نے صبر اوراستقامت کا دامن نہیں چھوڑا، محاصرہ کے دوران آپ کا کھانا اور پانی بند کردیاگیا تقریبا چالیس روز بھوکے پیاسے82سالہ مظلوم مدینہ سیدنا عثمان کو جمعة المبارک 18ذو الحجہ کو انتہائی بے دردی کے ساتھ روزہ کی حالت میں قرآن پاک کی تلاوت کرتے ہوے شہید کردیا گیا۔سیدنا عمر فاروق کے بعد امت کی زمامِ اقتدار سنبھالی اور خلیفۂ ثالث مقرر ہوئے ۔ ان کا دورِ حکومت تاریخ اسلام کا ایک تابناک اور روشن باب ہے ۔ ان کے عہد زریں میں عظیم الشان فتوحات کی بدولت اسلامی سلطنت کی حدود اطراف ِ عالم تک پھیل گئیں اور انہوں نے اس دور کی بڑی بڑی حکومتیں روم ، فارس ، مصر کےبیشتر علاقوں میں پرچم اسلام بلند کرتے ہوئے عہد فاروقی کی عظمت وہیبت اور رعب ودبدبے کو برقرار رکھا اور باطل نظاموں کو ختم کر کے ایک مضبوط مستحکم اورعظیم الشان اسلامی مملکت کواستوار کیا ۔ زیر تبصرہ کتاب ’’سیرت عثمان ذوالنورین ‘‘عرب کےمایہ ناز مؤلف ومحقق دکتور علی محمد محمد صلابی کی خلیفۂ ثالث ، داماد رسول ، جامع قرآن ، پیکر حیا، سیدنا عثمان بن عفان کی سیرت پر مستند تصنیف ہے۔دکتور صلابی نے اس کتاب میں عہد عثمانی کےتمام واقعات کومستند حوالوں سے بیان کیا ہے اور ان کےہر پہلو کانہایت احتیاط سےجائزہ لیا ہے۔اس کتاب کی ایک منفرد خصوصیت یہ ہےکہ اس میں عہد عثمانی کی نہایت اہم معلومات اجاگر کرنے والے 19 نادر نقشے شامل ہیں ۔اللہ تعالیٰ مصنف ،مترجم اور ناشرین کی اس عمدہ کاوش کو قبول فرمائے اور یہ کتا ب مسلمانوں میں سیدنا عثمان جیسی صفات جلیلہ پیدا کرنے کاباعث بنے -

Amongst the countless blessings which Almighty Allah has bestowed upon the Muslims is that He has preserved their religion for them and provided the appropriate means for Islam to be safeguarded and preserved, in that He has raised erudite scholars through whom the Sunnah of the Noble Prophet, Muhammad ibn Abdullah صلّی الله علیهِ وآلهِ وسلم, the seal of the prophets صلّی الله علیهِ وآلهِ وسلم, has been preserved. Thus the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet صلّی الله علیهِ وآلهِ وسلم provide evidence against mankind. One of the scholars through whom Allah preserved the Sunnah was Imaam Ahmad ibn Hanbal (Rahimahullah), and one of the books that he wrote to preserve the Sunnah is al-Musnad, which is one of the major collections of the noble Sunnah.Muslim scholars, particularly hadeeth scholars, were keen on ahaadeeth with few narrators between the hadeeth reporter and the Prophet صلّی الله علیهِ وآلهِ وسلم. In fact, Imaam Ahmad reported more than three hundred `thulaathiyyaat`, ahaadeeth with only three narrators between him and the Prophet صلّی الله علیهِ وآلهِ وسلم. These ahaadeeth were collected from al-Musnad by Shaikh Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Saalim as-Saffaareenee al-Hanbalee (Rahimahullah) in a separate book.This example clearly points to the great care shown by hadeeth scholar to the Prophet`s Sunnah, as they were keen to compile the Sunnah with the soundest chains of narrators (isnaad) and convey it in the easiest manner possible, from leading scholars of hadeeth who were of extremely good character and who approached the reports with accuracy and deep knowledge, in compliance with to the Prophet`s instructions: `Convey [whatever you learn] from me. even if it is just one verse.` (Narrated by al-Bukhaaree)

When people refused to pay Zakaat, and when the apostates threatened the stability of the Muslim nation, Abu Bakr (May Allah be pleased with him) was the one who remained firm and took decisive action against them. These are just some of the examples of Abu Bakr`s many wonderful achievements throughout his life. I have endeavored to describe all of the above in a clear and organized manner. But more so than anything else, I have tried to show how Abu Bakr`s methodology as a Muslim and as a ruler helped establish the foundations of a strong, stable, and prosperous country - one that began in Al-Madeenah, extended throughout the Arabian Peninsula, and then reached far-off lands outside of Arabia. Throughout the brief period of his caliphate (about 2 years), Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (May Allah be pleased with him) faced both internal and external challenges; the former mainly involved quelling the apostate factions of Arabia and establishing justice and peace among the citizens of the Muslim nation; and the latter mainly involved expanding the borders of the Muslim nation by spreading the message of Islam to foreign nations and conquering those nations that stood in the way of the propagation of Islam. During the era of his caliphate, Khalifah Abu Bakr As Siddeeq (May Allah be pleased with him) sent out armies that achieved important conquests; for example, under the command of Khaalid ibn Al-Waleed (May Allah be pleased with him) the Muslim army gained an important victory in Iraq. And the Muslim army achieved other important victories under the commands of Al-Muthannah ibn Haarithah (May Allah be pleased with him) and Al-Qa`qaa ibn `Amr (May Allah be pleased with him). In short, the victories achieved during the era of Abu Bakr`s Caliphate paved the way for victories that later took place after Abu Bakr`s death. I have tried to analyze the above-mentioned conquests and to break down the reasons why they were such monumental successes. I particularly pointed out Abu Bakr`s contributions to those conquests: His military strategy, the leaders he chose, the letters through which he communicated with them, and so on. -

Every Prophet had a miracle which he showed to his people and challenged them with. Other than being a discourse of how a servant can remain attached to his Lord, the advice contained in this book also focuses on the interpersonal relationship between human beings (i.e. being good to others by giving them their rights, being just to them etc). Book 2 - O My Son! (The Advice of Luqmaan) One of the duties parents owes their children is to guide them aright by educating them. They are obligated to correct their children`s errors and most importantly guide them to live a life that is pleasing to Allaah (Azawajal) by teaching them the means of achieving that. To assist the parents in discharging these responsibilities, Allaah (A) gave clear guidance in the Qur`an. He gave us the example of a dutiful father-Luqman and the advice he gave to his son: `And (remember) when Luqman said to his son when he was advising him: `0 my son! Join not in worship others with Allaah. Verily! Joining others in worship with Allaah is a great Zulm (injustice) indeed.` (Luqmaan [311: 13) Our success as parents is determined largely by how well we are able to discharge those responsibilities Allaah O has placed on us regarding our children. This book explains different aspects of the advice of Luqmaan to his son and its significance for a successful life. Book 3 - Do not Become Angry Much of the flaws that afflict the individual and the community stem from the singular defect of Anger. Allaah (j) and His Messenger (S) have given us instructions regarding the malady and advised us to keep it in check. This work is an extensive discussion of these instructions. We hope that this concise work will aid the one who is afflicted with this flaw to find a cure in, insha Allaah; while the one who is free of it will find enough incentives to keep his emotions under control. Book 4 - Guard the Tongue How many people have earned the wrath of Allaah as a result of misuse of their tongues? How many injuries that may never heal have been inflicted through the careless slips of the tongue? The Messenger of Allaah (S) said: `Indeed, the servant will speak words that are pleasing to Allaah, due to which he will be given a condition in which Allaah will raise him many levels. And indeed, the servant will speak words that are displeasing to Allaah, due to which he will not be given a good condition, but (instead) be thrown into the Hellfire.` (Bukhaaree) This book highlights those sins that seem so light on the tongue yet so grave on the scale and offers practical advice on how to keep the tongue in check. Book 5 - Be patient and Paradise will be Yours After eemaan (faith), the most honorable trait with which man could be endowed is patience. It is the best course of action in all situations. It is a cause for Allaah`s mercy and helps. It is a source of spiritual joy. The final victory in both matters of the world and Hereafter is only earned by patients and the good end beings only to the patient ones. Our trials in this world are numerous and varied. Sometimes, they come as difficulties and some other times in forms of ease. Situations that life turns on us sometimes could stretch our will and faith to the extreme. In all situations, patience and eemaan remain our most valued companions for the Prophet (S) said: `Whoever remains patient, Allaah will make him patient. Nobody can be given a blessing better and greater than patience.` (Bukhaaree) This book is a discussion of patience and how to develop that trait so that we might be a recipient of one of Allaah`s greatest blessings. Book 6 - Rizq and Lawful Earning Narrated by Umar ibn al-Khattab (R), the Prophet (S) said: `If you put your faith completely in Allaah, He will arrange for your sustenance in the same way as he provides for the bird. They go out in the morning with their stomachs empty and return filled in the evening.` (Tirmidhee) This book discusses the place of pride Islaam gives to making lawful earnings and rizq through hard work and striving. It also looks at the contempt Islaam places on begging and indolence. Then it looks at which earnings are lawful, which are not and the many ways by which wealth can increase while seeking the pleasure of Allaah (A). Book 7 - Do not Be Envious Ever heard of the cause of the first disobedience in the heavens? ENVY! That was it! I bless (Shaytaan) disobeyed Allah, his Lord, out of envy, arrogance, and pride. (See Al-Araaf [7]: 12). Envy is also one of the commonest sins on earth! It is the deadly disease of the heart that destroys personal as well as communal relationships! ENVY: its causes, its effects and how to deal with it, is the subject of this small but beneficial book. May the one Who is afflicted with this disease fine cure in the prescription contained in this book. (Ameen) Book 8 - The Muslim home A home is an important means towards building the Muslim community. The society is made up of homes and it is the origin. The home is life and the life is society. If the home is strong and morally sound, it will reflect in the larger society. Whatever the home is made up of that is the reflection that will be seen in the society. When the society is morally bankrupt it should be traced to the home. To rescue our society from destruction the home needs to be rebuilt on sound footings. The Messenger of Allaah (S) said: `Happiness has four elements; a good wife, a spacious house, a good neighbor and a good riding beast.` (Ibn Hibbaan) From this hadeeth, it can be seen that three out of the four elements of happiness concern the home. This book highlights the means and processes of building a Muslim home which guarantees sakeenah (tranquility). [an-Nahl (16):80] Book 9 - O Young Man! When do we teach our children? What do we teach them? How do we teach them? The Messenger of Allaah (N) showed the way of tarbiyah for Muslims in his life-forming advice to Abdullah ibn Abbas? This book is an insight into the basic Islamic teaching that children should be taught significant things early in life, so that they may live a meaningful life. It is must for every home. Is it not time to call our children and advise them with the words of the Prophet (S)? `O young man, I shall teach you some words (of advice): Be mindful of Allaah, and Allaah will protect you. Be mindful of Allaah, and you will find Him in front of you. If you ask, ask of Allaah; if you seek help, seek the help of Allaah...` (Tirmidhee) Book 10 - Be Steadfast! Every day we faced threats that shake us just a bit or rock us from the foundation of our being at other times. Such sections make us wonder whether we can remain steadfast and much on! Narrated Sufyaan Ibn Abdullah (R): `I said to the Messenger of Allah (S): `Messenger of Allah, tell me something to which I should hold fast. He said: `Affirm, `My Lord is Allah` and then be steadfast.` Then I said: `Messenger of Allah, what is that you are most afraid of in my case?` He took hold of his tongue and said: `Of this.`` (Tirmidhee) This book, Insha Allah, gives a concise insight into what it means to be steadfast, the kind of sections that necessitate being steadfast and the various ways and means of keeping steadfast in our faith. -
