`تقوتہ الایمان` کا موضوع توحید ہے، جو دین کی بنیاد ہے۔ اس موضوع پر بے شمار کتابیں اور رسالے لکھے جا چکے ہیں۔ شاہ اسمعیل شہید کا اندازِ بحث اور طرزِ استدلال سب سے نرالا اور سراسر مصلحانہ ہے۔ علمائے حق کی طرح اُنہوں نے صرف کتاب و سنت کو مدار بنایا۔ آیات و احادیث کے ذریعے وہ نہایت سادہ اور سلیس انداز میں انکی تشریح فرما دیتے ہیں اور توحید کے مخالف جتنی بھی غیر شرعی رسمیں معاشرے میں مروج تھیں، ان کی اصل حقیقت دل نشیں انداز میں آشکار کر دیتے ہیں۔ شاہ اسمعیل شہید نے عقیدہ و عمل کی اُن تمام خوفناک غلطیوں کو جو اسلام کی تعلیمِ توحید کے خلاف تھیں، مختلف عنوانات کے تحت جمع کردیا ہے، مثلاً شرک فی العلم، شرک فی التصرف، شرک فی العادت اور شرک فی العبادات۔ یوں تقویہ الایمان توحید کے موضوع پر ایک جامع اور یگانہ کتاب بن گئی۔ اگرچہ یہ کتاب نہایت اہم موضوع پر ہے لیکن شاہ اسمعیل شہید نے طریق استدلال ایسا اختیار کیا کہ معمولی پڑھا لکھا آدمی اور متجحر عالم دین بھی اس سے یکسان مستفید ہو سکتے ہیں اور ہوتے رہیں گے۔ -
اولاد کی تربیت صالح ہوتو ایک نعمت ہے وگرنہ یہ ایک فتنہ اور وبال بن جاتی ہے ۔ دین وشریعت میں اولاد کی تربیت کے لیے ایک فریضہ کی حیثیت رکھتی ہے ۔ کیونکہ جس طرح والدین کے اولاد پر حقوق ہیں اسی طرح اولاد کےوالدین پر حقوق ہیں اور جیسے اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہمیں والدین کےساتھ نیکی کرنے کا حکم دیا ہے ایسے ہی اس نے ہمیں اولاد کےساتھ احسان کرنے کا بھی حکم دیا ہے۔ ان کے ساتھ احسان اور ان کی بہترین تربیت کرنا دراصل امانت صحیح طریقے سے ادا کرنا ہے اورانکو آزاد چھوڑنا اور ان کے حقوق میں کوتاہی کرنا دھوکہ اور خیانت ہے۔ کتاب وسنت کے دلائل میں اس بات کا واضح حکم ہے کہ اولاد کے ساتھ احسان کیا جائے۔ ان کی امانت کوادا کیا جائے، ان کوآزاد چھوڑنے اوران کےحقوق میں کتاہیوں سے بچا جائے ۔کیونکہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی بے شمار نعمتوں میں سے ایک بہت بڑی نعمت اولاد بھی ہے۔ اور اس بات میں کوئی شک نہیں کہ اگر اولاد کی صحیح تربیت کی جائے تو وہ آنکھوں کا نور اور دل کا سرور بھی ہوتی ہے ۔ لیکن اگر اولاد بگڑ جائے اور اس کی صحیح تربیت نہ کی جائے تو وہی اولاد آزمائش بن جاتی ہے۔ زیر تبصرہ کتابچہ’’تربیت اولاد‘‘سعودی عرب کے معروف عالم دین شیخ محمد بن جمیل زینو کاتربیت اولاد کے موضوع پر ایک عربی رسالے کا ترجمہ ہے۔ اس کتابچہ میں شیخ موصوف نے تقریباً ان تمام باتوں کا احاطہ کر نےکی کوشش کی ہے جن سے معلوم ہوسکے کہ مسلمان بچوں کی تربیت کےلیے کون سے امور ضروری ہیں اوران کی مکمل تہذیب کے لیے کن باتوں سے پرہیز لازم ہے۔ یہ کتاب اپنےبچوں کے مستقبل کوسنوارنے او راسلامی منہج پر صحیح تربیت کرنےکے لیےبہترین کتاب ہے۔
