صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہُم میں بعض ایسی بھی شخصیات تھیں جو زمانہ کفر میں بھی بڑا نمایاں مقام رکھتی تھیں اور جب اسلام قبول کیا تو ان کی صلاحیتوں کو مزید جلا ملی اور انھوں نے کفر کی حالت میں اسلام کو جو نقصان پہنچایا تھا اس کی بھر پور تلافی کرنے کی کوشش کی-ان صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم میں سیدنا سہیل بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کا نام بڑا نمایاں ہے- سید نا سہیل بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ زمانہ کفر میں بھی بڑے دانا ،سمجھدار ،مدبر،خطیب،شاعراور کامیاب سفارت کار تھے- وہ گفتگو کرنے کا سلیقہ اور طریقہ خوب جانتے تھے –حدیبیہ کے مقام پر قریش کی طرف سے سفیر بن کر آتے ہیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے صلح حدیبیہ کی شرائط پر قریش مکہ کی طرف سے دستخط کرتے ہیں – پھر ایک دن آیا ،ان کی قسمت نے پلٹا کھایااوروہ فتح مکہ کے موقع پر اسلام قبول کر لیتے ہیں

Every Prophet had a miracle which he showed to his people and challenged them with. Some of Prophets even had more than one sign as a definite proof that they were sent by Allah; challenging their nations to bring anything similar to it if they denied it. Every sign given to any of the prophets was exclusively meant for his people and when he died, his signs ceased to exist. One of the scholars through whom Allah preserved the Sunnah was Imaam Ahmad ibn Hanbal (Rahimahullah), and one of the books that he wrote to preserve the Sunnah is al-Musnad, which is one of the major collections of the noble Sunnah.Muslim scholars, particularly hadeeth scholars, were keen on ahaadeeth with few narrators between the hadeeth reporter and the Prophet صلّی الله علیهِ وآلهِ وسلم. In fact, Imaam Ahmad reported more than three hundred `thulaathiyyaat`, ahaadeeth with only three narrators between him and the Prophet صلّی الله علیهِ وآلهِ وسلم. These ahaadeeth were collected from al-Musnad by Shaikh Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Saalim as-Saffaareenee al-Hanbalee (Rahimahullah) in a separate book.This example clearly points to the great care shown by hadeeth scholar to the Prophet`s Sunnah, as they were keen to compile the Sunnah with the soundest chains of narrators (isnaad) and convey it in the easiest manner possible, from leading scholars of hadeeth who were of extremely good character and who approached the reports with accuracy and deep knowledge, in compliance with to the Prophet`s instructions: `Convey [whatever you learn] from me. even if it is just one verse.` (Narrated by al-Bukhaaree)

صحیح مسلم امام کی مرتب کردہ شہرہ آفاق مجموعہء احادیث ہے جو کہ صحاح ستہ کی چھ مشہور کتابوں میں سے ایک ہے۔ امام بخاری کی صحیح بخاری کے بعد دوسرے نمبر پر سب سے مستند کتاب ہے۔امام مسلم کا پورا نام ابوالحسین مسلم بن الحجاج بن مسلم القشیری ہے ۔ 202ھ میں ایران کے شہر نیشاپور میں پیدا ہوئے اور 261ھ میں نیشاپور میں ہی وفات پائی۔ انہوں نے مستند احادیث جمع کرنے کے لئے عرب علاقوں بشمول عراق، شام اور مصر کا سفر کیا۔ انہوں نے تقریباًتین لاکھ احادیث اکٹھی کیں لیکن ان میں سے صرف7563 احادیث صحیح مسلم میں شامل کیں کیونکہ انہوں نے حدیث کے مستند ہونےکی بہت سخت شرائط رکھی ہوئی تھیں تا کہ کتاب میں صرف اور صرف مستند ترین احادیث جمع ہو سکیں۔ صحیح مسلم کی اہمیت کے پیش نظر صحیح بخاری کی طرح اس کی بہت زیادہ شروحات لکھی گئیں۔ عربی زبان میں لکھی گئی شروحات ِ صحیح مسلم میں امام نووی کی شرح نووی کو امتیازی مقام حاصل ہے ۔پاک وہند میں بھی کئی اہل علم نے عربی واردو زبان میں اس کی شروحات وحواشی لکھے ۔عربی زبان میں نواب صدیق حسن خاں اور اردو میں علامہ وحید الزمان کا ترجمہ قابل ذکر ہے اورطویل عرصہ سے یہی ترجمہ متداول ہے لیکن اب اس کی زبان کافی پرانی ہوگئی ہے اس لیے ایک عرصے سےیہ ضرورت محسوس کی جارہی ہے تھی کااردو زبان کے جدید اسلوب میں نئے سرے سے کتب ستہ کے ترجمے کرکے شائع کیے جائیں۔ماشاء اللہ یہ سعادت اور شرف ادارہ ہ کو حاصل ہوا کہ انہوں نے مذکوروہ ضرورتوں کااحساس کرتے ہوئے ایک صدی کے بعد نئےسرے سےکتب ستہ کے تراجم وفوائد اردوزبان کے جدید اور معیاری اسلوب میں کراکر ان کو طباعت کے اعلی معیارپر شائع کرنے کا پروگرام بنایا ۔ تاکہ قارئین کے لیے ان کا مطالعہ اور ان سے استفادہ آسان ہوجائے اور یوں ان کا حلقۂ قارئین بھی زیادہ سے زیادہ وسیع ہوسکے کیونکہ ان تمام کاوشوں کا مقصد احادیث ِرسول کو زیادہ سے زیادہ لوگوں تک پہنچانا ہے -

In the recent years, when we are seeing much religion-related stuff in print and electronic media, whenever a protagonist is portrayed with strokes of Deen, writer is most of the times (not always) hung between story and religion, and as a result, one or more aspects of religious sanctions are ignored. The pain, the suffering, the endurance of hers is above the level of understanding of a ‘’normal’’ girl. Just like a non-doctor cannot understand the troubles of a medical student, non-hijaabis can never understand those of hijaabi girls. For once, I wanted to write a completely Niqaabi girl’s story. Something every hijaabi girl can relate with. And JKP was not about Haya only. It was about Ayeshe too (A non-niqaabi, only-hijaabi girl), about DJ too (a non-hijaabi, non-niqaabi girl) and the message I tried to convey is that its about time Hijaabi girls should stop taking non-hijaabi ones as Kaafir, idiots and bad girls, and non-hijaabi girls should start showing some respect for the hijaab.
