Sale!ہر دور میں ائمہ دین نے کتاب اللہ کی تشریح وتوضیح کی خدمت سر انجام دی ہے تا کہ عوام الناس کے لیے اللہ کی کتاب کو سمجھنے میں کوئی مشکل اور رکاوٹ پیش نہ آئے۔ سلف صالحین ہی کے زمانہ ہی سے تفسیر قرآن، تفسیر بالماثور اور تفسیر بالرائے کے مناہج میں تقسیم ہو گئی تھی۔ صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم ، تابعین عظام اور تبع تابعین رحمہم اللہ اجمعین کے زمانہ میں تفسیر بالماثور کو خوب اہمیت حاصل تھی اور تفسیر کی اصل قسم بھی اسے ہی شمار کیا جاتا تھا۔ تفسیر بالماثور کو تفسیر بالمنقول بھی کہتے ہیں کیونکہ اس میں کتاب اللہ کی تفسیر خود قرآن یا احادیث یا اقوال صحابہ یا اقوال تابعین و تبع تابعین سے کی جاتی ہے۔ بعض مفسرین اسرائیلیات کے ساتھ تفسیر کو بھی تفسیر بالماثور میں شامل کرتے ہیں کیونکہ یہ اہل کتاب سے نقل کی ایک صورت ہے۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ ہمارے قدیم تفسیری ذخیرہ میں اسرائیلیات بہت زیادہ پائی جاتی ہیں۔امام ابن کثیر رحمہ اللہ متوفی ۷۷۴ھ کی اس تفسیر کا منہج بھی تفسیر بالماثور ہے۔ امام رحمہ اللہ نے کتاب اللہ کی تفسیر قرآن مجید، احادیث مباکہ، اقوال صحابہ وتابعین اور اسرائیلیات سے کی ہے اگرچہ بعض مقامات پر وہ تفسیر بالرائے بھی کرتے ہیں لیکن ایسا بہت کم ہے۔ تفسیر طبری ، تفسیر بالماثور کے منہج پر لکھی جانے والی پہلی بنیادی کتاب شمار ہوتی ہے۔ بعض اہل علم کا خیال ہے کہ تفسیر ابن کثیر ، تفسیر طبری کا خلاصہ ہے۔امام ابن کثیر رحمہ اللہ کی اس تفسیر کو تفسیر بالماثور ہونے کی وجہ سے ہر دور میں خواص وعوام میں مرجع و مصدر کی حیثیت حاصل رہی ہے اگرچہ امام رحمہ اللہ نے اپنی اس تفسیر میں بہت سی ضعیف اور موضوع روایات یا من گھڑت اسرائیلیات بھی نقل کر دی ہیں جیسا کہ قرون وسطیٰ کے مفسرین کا عمومی منہاج اور رویہ رہا ہے۔ ادارہ دارالسلام نے ’تفسیر ابن کثیر‘کے متعدد عربی ایڈیشن شائع کرنے کے بعد ’المصباح المنیر في تهذيب تفسیر ابن کثیر‘کے نام سے اس کی تہذیب شائع کی۔یہ کام مولانا صفی الرحمٰن مبارکپوری اور حافظ عبدالمتین راشد وغیرہم کی نگرانی میں انجام پایا۔ پھر ادارہ نے اسی تہذیب کو اردو قالب میں منتقل کرنے کا اہتمام کرایا جو اس وقت آپ کے کے سامنے ہے۔ اردو ترجمے کے فرائض مولانا محمد خالد سیف نے انجام دئیے ہیں۔ ترجمہ بہت عمدہ، سلیس اور دارالسلام کے معیار کے عین مطابق ہے۔

In this book, `Qasas-ul-Anbiya` the stories of the prophets have been compiled from `Al-Bidayah wan-Nihayah` (The Beginning and the End) which is a great work of the famous Muslim exegete and historian Ibn Kathir and has a prominent place in the Islamic literature. The stories of the prophets and all the events in their lives have been supported by the Qur`anic Verses and the Sunnah (traditions) of the Prophet (S). Wherever it was necessary, other sources have also been reported for the sake of historical accounts, but on such places a comparative study has been made to prove the authenticity of the sources. Ibn Kathir has reproduced the views and interpretations of all the great exegetes of the Qur`an of his time. انسانیت کی رشد و ہدایت کے لیے خدا تعالیٰ کی جانب سے قرآن مجید کا نزول ہوا۔ یہ صحیفہ خداوندی اپنے اندر تمام لوگوں کی اجتماعی و انفرادی مشکلات کا کامل حل سموئے ہوئے ہے۔ اس میں سعادت دارین کے انمول اصول بیان کیے گئے ہیں۔ قرآن کریم کی متعدد زبانوں میں سیکڑوں تفاسیر سامنے آچکی ہیں۔ جن میں تفاسیر بالماثور بھی شامل ہیں اور تفاسیر بالرائے بھی۔ قرآن کریم کی زیر نظر تفسیر ’تفسیر دعوۃ القرآن‘ تفسیر بالماثور پر مشتمل ہے اور تفاسیر کی دنیا میں ایک خوش کن اضافہ ہے۔ مفسر نے روز و شب کی محنت اور نہایت عرق ریزی کے ساتھ ایک ایسی تفسیر پیش کی ہے جس سے عوم و خواص یکساں طور پر مستفید ہو سکتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے سب سے پہلے تفسیر قرآن بالقرآن کو سامنے رکھا ہے، کیونکہ قرآن کریم کی بہت سی آیات ایسی ہیں جو ایک جگہ اجمالاً بیان ہوئی ہیں جبکہ دوسری جگہ ان کی تفصیل موجود ہے۔ بعض لوگوں کا کہنا ہے کہ کچھ احادیث قرآنی آیات کے خلاف ہیں۔ مولانا نے قرآن کی تفسیر و تبیین میں احادیث لاکر ثابت کیا ہے کہ کوئی بھی صحیح حدیث ایسی نہیں ہے جو قرآنی مفہوم کے مخالف ہو۔ مولانا موصوف نے تفسیر کرتے ہوئے ضعیف اور موضوع احادیث رقم کرنے سے گریز کیا ہے۔ اور صرف صحیح اور حسن احادیث سے استدلال کیا ہے۔ علاوہ ازیں تفسیر میں حسب موقع صحابہ کرام کے اقوال بھی نقل کیے گئے ہیں۔ کیونکہ قرآن کریم کی تفہیم میں صحابہ کرام کے صحیح اور مستند اقوال ایک روشن باب کی حیثیت رکھتے ہیں۔ حضور نبی کریمﷺ کا اشاد گرامی بھی ہے کہ : چار آدمیوں سے قرآن سیکھو: عبداللہ بن مسعود، سالم مولیٰ حذیفہ، معاذ بن جبل اور ابی بن کعب سے۔ قرآن کی تفسیر میں عموماً رطب و یابس سے بھرپور اسرائیلی روایات کو بیان کرنا معیوب نہیں سمجھا جاتا لیکن مولانا نے ان تمام اسرائیلی روایات سے اجتناب کیا ہے جن کا جھوٹ ہونا کتاب وسنت سے ثابت ہے۔ تفسیر میں موجود تمام احادیث و آثار کی مکمل تخریج و تحقیق کی گئی ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ صورتوں کی شان نزول کے ضمن میں صرف اور صرف مستند روایات کا حوالہ دیا گیا ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ سے دعا ہے کہ وہ اس تفسیر کو نافع خلائق بنائے۔
