اسلام عفت و عصمت اور پاکیزگی قلب و نگاہ کا دین ہے۔ اسلام زمانہ جاہلیت کی غیر انسانی طفل کشی کی رسم کی پرزور مذمت کرتا ہے۔ اسلام ہی دنیا کا واحد مذہب ہے جس نے عورتوں کو ان کے اصل مقام و مرتبے سے ہمکنار کیا۔ اس کی عزت و آبرو کے لیے جامع قوانین متعین کیے، عورت کو وراثت میں حقدار ٹھہرایا، اس کے عائلی نظام کو مضبوط کیا۔ اسلام سے پہلے دنیا نے جس قدر ترقی کی تھی، صرف ایک صنف واحد(مرد) کی اخلاقی اور دماغی قوتوں کا کرشمہ تھی۔ مصر، بابل، ایران، یونان اور ہندوستان مختلف تہذیب و تمدن کے چمن آراء تھے لیکن اس میں صنف نازک(عورت) کی آبیاری کا کچھ دخل نہ تھا۔ عورت کو دنیا میں جس نگاہ سے دیکھا جاتا ہے وہ ہر ممالک میں مختلف رہی ہے، مشرق میں عورت مرد کے دامن تقدس کا داغ ہے، اہل یونان اس کو شیطان کہتے ہیں، تورات اس کو لعنت ابدی کا مستحق قرار دیتی ہے، کلیسا اس کو باغ انسانیت کا کانٹا تصور کرتا ہے لیکن اسلام کا نقطہ نظر ان سب سے جدا گانہ ہے۔ اسلام میں عورت نسیم اخلاق کی نکہت اور چہرہ انسانیت کا غازہ سمجھی جاتی ہے۔ زیر تبصرہ کتاب’’بہنوں کے لیے تحفہ‘‘محترمہ امل بنت عبداللہ کی تصنیف کرداہے اور اس کا عربی نام ’’ھدیتی الیک ‘‘ہے اور اس کا اردو ترجمہ نعیم احمد بلوچ نے کیا ہے جس میں انہوں نے ایک عورت کی معاشرتی اور گھریلو ذمہ داریوں کو بیان کیا ہے۔اللہ رب العزت سے دعا کرتے ہیں کہ اللہ فاضل مصنفہ اور فاضل مترجم نعیم احمد صاحب کو اس کار خیر پر اجرے عظیم سے نوازے۔آمین

دنیا کے کسی مذہب اور کسی نظریہ حیات نے عورت کو وہ عظمت نہیں بخشی جو اسلام نے عطا فرمائی ہے۔ اب تک کی معلومہ تاریخ میں کفر و شرک کی طاقتیں اتنی گمراہ کن تہذیب اور اس قدر مہلت اسلحہ سے کبھی مسلح نہیں ہوئیں جتنی آج ہیں۔ ان حالات میں مسلمان خواتین کا کردار ہمیشہ سے کہیں زیادہ اہمیت اختیار کر گیا ہے۔ یعنی وہ خود اسلامی تعلیمات کا عملی پیکر بنیں اور اپنے بچوں میں بھی مجاہد اسلام بننے کی تڑپ پیدا کریں۔ جب تک ہماری محترم خواتین اللہ رب العزت کی سچی بندگی کا نمونہ و نمائندہ نہیں بنیں گی، ہماری بستیاں جلتی رہیں گی، مسجدِ اقصیٰ فریاد کرتی رہے گی اور ہمارے ہاں کوئی محمد بن قاسم اور کوئی صلاح الدین ایوبی پیدا نہیں ہوگا۔ کامیاب مسلمان خاتون کی صفات کیا ہیں؟ اور ہماری محترم خواتین قرونِ اولیٰ کی عالی مقام خواتین جیسی ہستیاں کس طرح بن سکتی ہیں؟ یہ باتیں اس کتاب میں تفصیل کے ساتھ بتا دی گئی ہیں۔ در حقیقت یہ کتاب اعلیٰ سیرت سازی کا جامع منشور ہے۔ ان شا اللہ ! اس کی بدولت ایمان اور حسن عمل کے چراغ دور دور تک روشن ہوتے چلاے جائیں گے۔
