This work, as the Maulāna wrote in the Preface, was in fact intended for those readers who only wanted to read the translation of the Qur’ān and could not spare the time to study the detailed commentary in the Tafhīm-ul-Qur’ān. However, he added brief explanatory notes, wherever necessary, to make the translation more useful and beneficial.
